Columbia University has expanded their program to include 30 different degrees for you to choose from. Each one matches the excellence that you would expect from in-class instruction. Cornell University so far only offer 19 degrees for you to choose from online, which is significantly less than what they offer on-site. However, they are full certifications, with several courses with each one. The tuition is also significantly less than if you were to go to school on campus, and ranges between $2,000 and $11,000.
Harvard University offers an online program, however, this is only an extension course. This means that you will have to take some classes on site, and some online, and mix them. This makes it very difficult for distance learners, as they will have to spend some time on campus, or living nearby. Of course, Harvard is one of the most respected school in the world, which makes it worth it.
University of Pennsylvania offers several online courses, mostly dealing within the medical field. Their dental and nurses programs are especially popular, and have become a central point of their Internet education programs. They are one of the main Ivy League Online Schools that offer medical courses on the Internet.
Dartmouth College now offers it’s liberal arts students the Dartmouth Online Bridge Program, which is affiliated with their Tuck business course. This is a full business program with all programs needed to get a full degree of your choice within that field. The cost is $3000 for the entire program, which ios significantly lower than most Ivy League Online Schools, so those already attending Dartmouth may want to consider it.
Yale University doesn’t technically have an online program. However, the Yale School of Medicine does have a video lecture series that the student can use in pursuit of their degree. They also have feel course materials and classes, but these are not specifically accredited towards a degree, and so are more preparatory.
There are endless possibilities when it comes to Ivy League Online Schools. While some have more than others by way of programs, these are ever expanding. It won’t be long before every one offers an online program, so you can attend while you work, from a distance, or even while taking care of a family.
