All those new options for MBA programs online are a great thing–it makes it a lot easier to find the best online MBA school for your goals, when there is an online MBA program that does suit your goals.  But all those options means it can be a little on the overwhelming side when you begin looking.  Here are a few ways you can narrow down your prospects efficiently to more quickly find the right program for you.

Schedule & Structure

These two go hand in hand.  Here, we’re talking specifically about class schedules when we talk about scheduling.  Most online MBA programs don’t require you to stick to a class schedule the way an on-campus program would, but many have more-or-less independently oriented class options.  For example, some classes may require that you chat online with your professor at a prescribed time each week, while others might just require the occasional email communication.  There’s no one best online MBA school schedule in general, but there’s probably one that fits your schedule best.

Structure is related to scheduling but on a larger scale.  How many classes are you expected to take at once?  How long is each “semester”?
